Do you want to be the star of a birthday party or simply need a little something for a person that’s very important to you? Then you have found the perfect recipe. There have never been any leftovers because everybody loved them. So do I and I really want to share this easy recipe with you.
For 30 pralines you’ll need:
- 18 oreo cookies
- 2,1oz (60g) cream cheese (room temperature)
- 5,3oz (150g) white chocolate (or any other chocolate)
First you need to crush the oreo cookies. You can use a blender or put them inside a zip lock bag and crush them. Then you need to beat the cream cheese using a handmixer until it is very creamy (use a egg whisk if you don’t have a handmixer). Add the crushed oreos and keep beating until you have a dough like mixture (again, if you don’t have a handmixer simply use your hands or a spatula). Put some parchment paper on a plate, form little balls and put them on the plate. Put the plate inside your freezer for 15minutes (or fridge for 1h). After 10 minutes start melting the chocolate (water bath or microwave). Take out the plate with the oreo balls. Dip each ball (with a toothpick or spoon) inside the white chocolate until it is completely covered. Decorate it with finely chopped chocolate, sugar perls, etc before the white chocolate has hardened (optional). Put it back on the parchment paper, put them inside the fridge and let them harden. They taste best when served cold. When they get warm they get very soft and sticky. Remove them from the parchment paper and serve. Enjoy.
