Finding the perfect BB cream can be as hard as finding the perfect pair of jeans. You want a BB cream that matches your skin tone perfectly, covers your problem areas (acne, scars, blemishes, etc) and highlights the good parts. Just like a pair of jeans. After trying many different types of Western and Korean BB creams I think I have found the one: the Innisfree Eco Natural Green Tea BB Cream SPF29 PA++. It even has a SPF, woohoo! This BB cream comes in 2 shades; no.1 which has a cooler (pink) tone and no.2 which is a little bit darker and has a warmer tone (yellow). I am using no.1 because I have a cool skin tone and I was really happy that it matches my skin so perfectly. That is the good part about Korean BB creams when you have a very light skin tone because they go for this very pale look. Western products on the other hand are often a little darker and warmer because of the tanned beauty ideal. It not only provides coverage but also moisturizes you skin. The 40ml size is a regular size that will last a while. It isn’t the ideal size if you just want to try it out (compared to the 15ml foundations), though. I really like the light fragrance. Unfortunately, it only lasts a few minutes.

This BB cream contains coconut oil which is a moderately comedogenic oil. It can clogg your pores and can cause acne. I can’t use pure coconut oil because my skin gets really bad after a few days but I don’t have any problems with this BB cream. There is probably not that much coconut oil in it.
So, let’s talk about the most important part: Coverage
As you can see, the coverage is pretty good and still has a very lightweight feel, not as heavy as a foundation. The texture isn’t too watery and not too thick. It spreads and blends easily. You might have to apply a second layer if you have very problematic areas. It is a little sticky at first but gets quickly absorbed within 1 minute and has a nice finish. I don’t use a powder because I don’t like a super matte finish and it still lasts the whole day. It even survived an hour of jogging. I think that is really amazing. It does neither dry out my skin nor increases sebum production (I have a combination skin). It also didn’t cause any breakouts or skin irritations. This is definitely my favorite BB cream at the moment. I usually order it on Jolse (16.98$+free shipping) or Innisfree (18$+shipping).
I hope that I was able to help you with this review. Did you try this BB cream? What was your experience with it? Let me know :).
